So if it is the fan and there is no way to fix that, could you please tell me where I could buy an original MSI fan that would work? The question I have is do you know what might be causing this and how to fix that? Also, is it actually a problem - it is a bit annoying because I keep thinking about it, but can it damage the laptop in any way? I guess that the fan might be an issue, because it's not an original MSI replacement part, but in theory it is the same model with the same specifications. I don't know if it's allowed to post the link to the fan that I bought, but name of the product is Laptop CPU Cooler Fan For MSI GE60 2PC Apache PAAD06015SL-A166 E33-0800401-MC2 I checked if this changes when the fan has to work with a higher efficiency - it doesn't change. I downloaded Silent Option (the fan utility) and tried changing something there, but it doesn't seem to react to any changes (I guess the version might not be correct for my laptop).ģ. I opened the laptop, checked if everything is fine inside and if everything is connected correctly - and it seemed that way.Ģ. The process constantly continues in the same way.ġ. It keeps turning on with what I would call a bit too much power, works for approximately 10 seconds and then turns off for 1-2 seconds. Now the problem is that after replacement, the new fan doesn't seem to be working properly. I found a shop with spare laptop parts and bought a fan that had the same model as the one I took out from my laptop. I cleaned it, made sure there is nothing inside, and unfortunately nothing changed, so I thought I should probably buy a new one. A while ago my laptop fan started making a lot of noise. ![]() I was hoping that you would be able to help me with the issue I have with my GE60 2PE laptop. ![]()
